Blackadder the Third

1 Oct, 2014 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 8:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until 11 Oct, 2014

Blackadder the Third is set in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, a period known as the Regency. For much of this time, George, the Prince of Wales, acted as regent (known as “the Prince Regent”) whilst his father King George III was suffering poor mental health

In this series, E. Blackadder Esquire is the head butler to the Prince of Wales, a spoiled, foppish idiot. Despite Edmund’s intelligence and abilities, he has no personal fortune to speak of. According to Edmund he has been serving the Prince Regent all of his life, since the Prince was breastfed (when he had to show the Prince which part of his mother was “serving the drinks”).

Directed by David Gregory this play once again promises non-stop laughs as audiences watch the antics of the various characters.

The roles of Blackadder, Baldrick & Prince George will be played again by the same actors who performed these roles brilliantly in last years production of “Blackadder Goes Forth”.
Joe Isaia as Edmund Blackadder, Keith Scrivens as Baldrick & Rodney van Groningen as Prince George.

Bookings can be made via: www.trybooking.com/EKRS

Once again group bookings of 10 or more will receive a voucher for one complimentary drink per person booked.
