Cast: 16 roles with 9 actors with some roles doubled/tripled – OR, depending on who auditions, the roles can be spread over more actors.

• Eli – female aged around 13-14 (can be played by older actor if able to portray younger)

• Oskar – male aged around 13-14 (can be played by older actor if able to portray younger

• Hakan – older man – 50 + , Eli’s “caretaker”

• Mum- Oskar’s mother – 30 – 40

• Jonny, bully – 15 – 16,

• Micke- bully – 15 – 16

• Halmberg, Mr Avila, Torkel –
Halmberg- Police Commissioner,
Mr Avila – Sport’s Teacher,
Torkel- 1st victim
– all males aged 30-50 – actor needs to be able to play 3 different roles

• Kurt, Jimmy, Janne
Kurt – Sweet shop owner, 20-25 ,
Jimmy – Jonny’s older brother 20
Janne – Oska’s dad’s “friend” – 30
-all males aged 20- 30 – actor needs to be able to play 3 different roles

• Jocke, Nils, Dad, Stefan –
Jocke – 2nd Victim,
Nils- Hospital receptionist,
Dad – Oska’s father,
Stefan- Train conductor

Synopsis:
Oskar is a bullied, lonely teenage boy living with his mother on a housing estate at the edge of town when a spate of sinister killings rock the neighbourhood. Eli is the young girl who has just moved in next door. She doesn’t go to school and never leaves the flat by day. Sensing in each other a kindred spirit, the two become devoted friends. What Oskar doesn’t know is that Eli has been a teenager for a very long time.
