Pardon Me, Prime Minister
March 12 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
On the eve of a kill-joy budget that will usher in punitive taxes to Gambling, Night Clubs and even Bingo Halls, into the fusty study of the asinine PM waltzes a young woman who claims to be (apart from a bombshell), his daughter. This vivacious by-product of a party conference fling won’t leave 10 Downing St until the dour chancellor backs down – and she gets most of her kit off it protest, before being bundled into the next room.
Cue an epidemic of door-slamming confusion involving, also, the PM’s wife, the interloper’s Mum, a high-powered female journalist and a suddenly lusty know-it-all aide called Miss Frobisher, who advances on the PM’s male secretary. After numerous hectic developments, a happy ending appears to be in sight-climaxed by a final even less expected family bombshell!!
