Play Reading of “TERMINUS”

9 Apr, 2014 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

FREE

The Old Mill Theatre’s play readings are back for 2014, starting with the drama Terminus by Melbourne playwright Daniel Keane on Wednesday, April 9.

Daniel Keene has written for the theatre since 1979 and his plays have been performed widely throughout Australia and overseas, especially in France. His plays have received numerous literary awards.

Terminus was described in Paris Voice as “Keene’s darkest picture yet of the consequences of social alienation” which nevertheless offers “redemptive possibilities in both fiction and reality”. Terminus has been widely produced in major French theatres, garnering enthusiastic critical acclaim.

It’s a 6.30pm for a 7pm start in the theatre’s Constance Ord Room. Supper will be provided so please RSVP for catering purposes. For more details, call Siobhán O’Gara on 0409 374 731 or email siobhanog@westnet.com.au.

Other play readings for the year will be held on June 11, August 13 and November 12. Suggestions for plays welcome – please contact Siobhán with your ideas.
