When the Countess of Marshwood learns that her son intends marrying a Hollywood Actress no one thinks it could possibly turn out well! The actress lives her life as if she were on screen to the horror of the family and the British aristocracy in general. Her Arrival at the Countess’s country manor throws everyone including the very proper staff into turmoil, heightened by the unexpected arrival of her co-star and ex-lover on the scene, determined to prevent the marriage of his sweetheart to her pompous fiancé. Written by Noel Coward.
