Scrooge – a Christmas Musical

About the Show:

This musical play is a setting of Dicken’s A Christmas Carol.
Scrooge, woken on Christmas Eve by the ghost of Marley is warned of his impending fate- to walk the earth in chains, in ‘agony & shame’ Scrooge is then visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future who reveal the misery of Chrismas for the poor. Determined to alter his miserly ways Scrooge buys presents for all his employees and raises their salaries to the amazement and delight of all!
This is a wonderful Christmas story that old and young will love.

Tiny Tim Cratchit- young child

Audition Preparation:

Contact Justin Freind (details below) for a time. Bring current CV with a photo attached
A CD player will be provided for backing tapes
A piano is available but you need your own accompanist
Please be prepared to wait around if necessary!
Auditionees will be asked to sing and may also be asked to read from the script, there are many ‘character roles’ which require little singing- if you can hold a tune we encourage you to come along
