(Must be able to play guitar with C&W singing voice)
TY WILLIAMSON: Late 20s, a beautiful gay man on a journey (Day time soap opera looks)
SISSY HICKEY: Mid / late 50s, the caretaker who picked the wrong day to quit smoking
NOLETA NETHERCOTT: 40s the angry overweight betrayed housewife
(must be comfortable with characters discussing her weight)
LATRELLE WILLIAMSON: Early 50s, Ty’s uptight, proper mother
LA VONDA DUPREE: Late 40s, Latrelle’s liberal-minded worldly sister
G.W. NETERCOTT: Late 40s, the distraught legless Vietnam Vet
WARDELL ‘BUBBA’ OWENS: Late 40s, the remorseful bartender
ODELL OWENS: 40s, Wardell’s worthless story-telling / string trick obsessed brother
DR. EVE BOLINGER: 40s, the over-sexed pill-popping, alcoholic therapist
EARL INGRAM: 40s, the Tammy Wynette obsessed transvestite (AKA: Brother Boy)
JUANITA BARTLETT: Late 40s – 60s, the resident barfly
REV. BARNES: The Southern Baptist preacher

All characters require good Texas accents – Except for Dr Eve Bolinger & Ty Williamson who require neutral American accents.
