About the Show:

Through the dark they hear the call. It hauls them to their feet, sets the blood pumping through their veins, and draws them with longing into the night. Paige, Noah & Olivia’s night out takes an unexpected turn when they strike out in search of the ultimate party. Stumbling through the bush this unlikely trio may find more than they bargained for in the darkness.

We all know the call to celebrate and find joy, but in a world busy with desire, connection, expectation, and pressure, where do you begin to look? Exploring self-worth, interpersonal value, and building positive relationships The Revellers will encourage young people to consider: what you value, where you seek happiness, and what it means to care for each other.

Join SU WA’s Fine Edge Theatre as we swing into the night on the adventure that is The Revellers.

Available Roles:

****Noah a teenage boy.****
Noah is self assured and confident, at least in his head. At school he is looked over and left out with a nagging sense that he will never really fit in. Strong in his convictions and loyal to a fault Noah is a friend you’ll find it hard to shake.

Males, aged 18 to 35
Acting experience: Extra – Previous unpaid speaking roles

****Olivia a teenage girl.****
Olivia is an excellent student and a considerate classmate, both qualities highly valued by teachers and often ignored by her peers. Olivia has always hoped to find her place, her niche, that one thing for which she will be remembered. Perhaps tonight she’ll find it in “the Revellers”.

Females, aged 18 to 35
Acting experience: Extra – Previous unpaid speaking roles

****Paige a teenage girl.****
Paige is sick of the buzzing. The constant hum of her “friends” chatter about who did this and why that’s a death sentence. The buzz in her pocket of notifications from instagram and twitter and facebook and tumblr. None of it means anything. But all that will change tonight, tonight she finds real power, real meaning, real purpose. Tonight she finds a reason to dance.

Females, aged 18 to 35
Acting experience: Extra – Previous unpaid speaking roles
