It’s the future- there is a severe water shortage and people are forbidden to use their home toilets and have to pay to access the regulated public ones, controlled by the “Urine Good Company” or UGC for short, In a long line-up one person is unable to afford the ‘fee’ and so pees in the street for which he is arrested! This starts a ‘revolution’ in protest. Urinetown is a very funny and probably politically incorrect show- does it have a happy ending? come and audition and see for yourselves!
