Wife Begins at Forty
30 Aug, 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
About the Show:
The story line takes a light hearted look at how many families function, or dis-function as the case may be.
It seems for some people, 40 is a rather traumatic age. For Linda Harper, it certainly appears to be, as she starts worrying about the future, three years before her 40th. Birthday.
Dissatisfied spiritually and physically with her 17 year marriage to the slightly staid George, Linda decides to leave, but in fact, it’s George who moves out, giving Linda a chance to “find herself” through a variety of courses, including aerobics and sculpting.
When George returns to the family home a few weeks later to sort out maintenance arrangements with the help of neighbours Betty and Roger, he and Linda discover that the flames of passion are not quite dead, they just need a little fanning to re-ignite them.
